GPSA was founded and launched its first program in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, partnering with the Ministry of Health to support health initiatives in underserved communities.

2014-2017

The organization expanded its footprint to Belize in 2014 and West Virginia, USA in 2017, addressing health disparities in three countries in the Americas.

GPSA opened its newest site in Thailand, supporting local health professionals during home visits, organizing health fairs, and elderly care initiatives.

Launch of Virtual Leadership

2020-2026

Adapting to travel challenges, GPSA launched a virtual global health course, shifting focus toward online leadership training and student-led community health projects. As of 2022 GPSA resumed all Global Health travel programs as well.
